Getting Here
There are direct scheduled flights to the North Eleuthera Airport from Atlanta, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Nassau. Check with your local travel agent or online for schedules and fares. There is also Bahamas Fast Ferries services from Nassau to Spanish Wells daily. The North Eleuthera Airport (ELH) is ten miles away from Gun Point.

Spanish Wells is a quaint Fishing village located across the channel from Gun Point, and is known as the "Lobster Capital" of The Bahamas. It has shopping, restaurants, liquor stores and grocery stores, as well as a bakery known for its sweet bread and pastries. Charters for fishing, diving, snorkeling, excursions and tours have bases in Spanish Wells.
There is a resident doctor and nurse located in Spanish Wells, as well as dentist and pharmacy. Commonwealth Bank, a bank based throughout The Bahamas is also located in the settlement.
Transportation to and from Spanish Wells is available through the ferry service at a nominal fee.
